Public Works Operations Manager (Full-Time)
The Town of Centreville is seeking a Public Works Operations Manager. This is a supervisory position within the Department of Public Works in Water, Waste Water and Street Infrastructure Systems for the Town of Centreville. With guidance from the Director of Public Works leads others in the installation and maintenance of the water system, waste water system and street infrastructure system. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: work scheduling, maintenance of system components, oversight and coordination for streets, water and wastewater operations, including staff supervision. Full job description is available upon request. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Two year degree is preferred. Minimum 9 years’ experience in municipal or public water systems and supervisory experience. Knowledgeable in plumbing and municipal water system operation and maintenance is required. Prefer working towards acquiring applicable licenses toward full certification as may be required by state regulations. This position requires a valid and current DOT Certificate or obtainable within 30 days of employment. This position requires a valid and current Maryland CDL or obtainable within 6 months of employment.

Maryland Police Training Standards Commission (MPTSC) Certification is desired, although applicants without experience are also encouraged to apply.
