This notice is being distributed door to door to affected customers on Happy Lady Lane, Railroad Avenue, Water Street, Kidwell Avenue, and nearby cross streets.  If you are reading this on line but have not received a notice, this disruption should not affect your water service.

 

December 12, 2009, 8PM: DUE TO AN EMERGENCY WATER MAIN BREAK, YOUR WATER SERVICE MAY BE DISRUPTED TONIGHT THROUGH Sunday, December 13, 2009.  We recommend filling containers of water now for use for drinking, washing, and flushing, in case water service is shut off during the next 24 hours.

 

Crews will be working on the water main on Happy Lady Lane at Water Street near the US Post Office.  Customers who live on or near Happy Lady Lane, Railroad Avenue, Water Street, Kidwell Avenue, and nearby streets, may face interruptions in water service while the main is repaired.    

 

The work is to repair a broken water main.

 

We cannot be sure what additional problems we may encounter during this repair, but due to pressure changes you may experience cloudy water, low water pressure, or interruption of water service during this period.
