2022-2023 Centreville Town Council - Jim Beauchamp, Steve Kline, Ashley Kaiser, Eric Johnson & Dan Worth

The Town of Centreville is governed by an elected Town Council.

The Town Council generally meets at 7 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. During the months of July and August there is generally only one meeting. Meetings are generally held at the Liberty Building, 107 North Liberty Street – 2nd Floor – Commissioners Meeting Room.

Ashley H. Kaiser, Esq.

Ashley H. Kaiser, Esq. – Council President

Ashley lives in the Providence Farms community with her husband and two sons.  She is an attorney and non-profit professional with experience in advocacy at all levels of government.

Ashley is a graduate of Queen Anne’s County High School with a passion for preserving the quality of life in our community.

Eric B. Johnson, Jr.

Eric B. Johnson, Jr. – Council Vice President

Eric Johnson grew up in Centreville as one of seven children on Chesterfield Avenue. He and his my wife, Jamie, both graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School in 1994. Active in my community from the age of 12, Eric was involved in organizing Centreville’s internationally recognized “Haunted Crack House Project” from 1989-91 and served as President of the QAC Commissioners’ “Youth Commission” from 1992-93. In 1995 he was also elected Chairperson of the Commissioners’ Alcohol/Drug Abuse Commission. From there his volunteer service continued to organize and lead multiple non-profit/civic boards, commissions, and other community and faith-based organizations over the past three decades.  After serving in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years, he served as a hospital administrator in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.  In 2018, Eric and his family returned to Centreville permanently, as it will “ALWAYS be home” to him.  Eric has a bachelors degree in psychology from Washington College and a dual Masters in public service and administration from the George Bush school of government and public service at Texas A&M University. Eric also is credentialed in the emergency management field with a CEM/certified emergency manager and CHEP certified health care emergency professional credential.

Daniel B. Worth

Daniel B. Worth - Council Member

Dan grew up in Dundalk, a suburb of Baltimore.  He attended public school and then Drexel University where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980.    He then moved to Ellicott City and then Columbia, both in Howard County, while working for a Department of the Navy Laboratory in Silver Spring, MD.  He began working for NASA in 1995 and was married shortly afterwards.  They moved to Centreville to start a family in 1998 and have three daughters.  In 2017, he retired from NASA and worked for a brief time at Gulliver’s Gate in NYC.  Dan returned to Centreville and began working part-time as a contractor at NASA.  He keeps busy maintaining his historic house and enjoys model railroading in his spare time.
