This form should be completed and signed by the property owner for the following activities:
- providing access up to 3 feet wide to a private pier/shoreline
- manually removing invasive or noxious vegetation
- filling to maintain an existing lawn
- managing storm damage
- removing a tree which may cause damage to structures
- or removing a dead, dying, or diseased tree
A letter from a Maryland licensed tree expert must be attached for removal of dead/dying or diseased trees. All plants must be native to Maryland’s Coastal Plain. Once completed and approved, this form will constitute your Buffer Management Plan and will provide the Town of Centreville office with an official record of your proposed Buffer impact and the way in which you plan to offset the impact (i.e. mitigation).
