5 Things to Know
- ShopCentrevilleMd Community eGift Cards never expire. (Actually, it's doable; but you have to try really hard! eGifts cards expires if the card hasn't been used for 12 consecutive months.)
- One card can be redeemed at multiple locations.
- They can be sent by email, text or printed out.
- You can schedule them so they deliver on a specific day.
- You can send a personalized message to your recipient.
Each eGift Card is a unique MasterCard number. You can send them directly to the recipient’s cell phone or email address or print it out for them. When they visit a participating merchant, they simply show the account number to the merchant who completes the purchase as a “card not present” transaction. If your total transaction is more than the balance on the card, the merchant will do a split transaction, using the balance on the eGift Card first. Then the customer pays the difference.

History
Launched by Centreville Main Street on December 5th, 2020, ShopCentrevilleMD Community eGift Cards provide an easy and convenient way for customers to support local businesses. The EGift Cards can be purchased all year long for that family or friend who is particularly hard to buy for or to acknowledge employees, teachers, and clients.
The eGift cards can be purchased in any denomination between $5 and $250 and can be purchased individually or can be bulk-ordered with applicable discounts. Each card can be used at any of the nearly Centreville participating business.
