The Centreville Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency that recruits year round to ensure that we always have a qualified pool of applicants to choose from when an opening occurs. Centreville Police Officers enforce laws and ordinances within the Town of Centreville. Applicants for the position of Police Officer must be at least 21 years of age, and successfully complete the medical and psychological evaluations and successfully pass a polygraph examination. Additionally, the candidate must be currently certified as a police officer in good standing with the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions or be able to pass a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission certified academy.
