Town Council Election Results

Monday, October 2, 2023

The results of the October 2, 2023 Election are as follows:

• Ashley H. Kaiser - 255 Votes

• Jeffrey D. Kiel - 281 Votes

• Steven K. Kline - 192 Votes

The two (2) open seats will be filled as follows:

• Jeffrey D. Kiel– 3-year term

• Ashley H. Kaiser – 3-year term

The two (2) elected Council Members will be sworn in on Thursday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Vincit Building, 110 Vincit Street, 2nd floor meeting room.  This will be televised live on QAC-TV-7 and on QAC-TV's Facebook page.

We would like to thank the 372 residents who came out to vote as well as those 25 citizens who submitted absentee ballots.  A total of 397 citizens voted.

LEGAL NOTICE

This is to advise all eligible voters in the Town of Centreville, Maryland that a regular election will be held at the Queen Anne’s County Office Building, Planning & Zoning meeting room, 110 Vincit Street, Centreville, Maryland on Monday October 2, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing two (2) Town Council Members for a three-year term.  Each voter will be able to vote for up to two (2) candidates.

The following named persons have filed and qualified for the office:

Ashley Heffernan Kaiser

Jeffrey D. Kiel

Steven K. Kline

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
