The Department of Public Works is comprised of 3 Divisions:

Streets

The goal of the Streets Division is to manage, operate and maintain road infrastructure in a productive, efficient and environmentally responsible manner, providing high quality service to the citizens of The Town of Centreville. The Streets Division is responsible for all maintenance efforts including but not limited to snow removal, road repairs and signage, dead animal and liter removal, street sweeping, bulk trash removal and a host of other resident services.

Parks and Recreation

The goal of the Parks and Recreation Division is to ensure the health and well-being of the community through conservation, safety and stewardship of the parks, playgrounds and trails throughout the Town of Centreville. The Parks and Recreation Division is responsible for upkeep efforts including but not limited to mowing, phragmite management, event set-up and break-down, repairs and maintenance, safety inspections, and several other efforts to keep our parks, playgrounds and trails safe and sanitary.  

Water and Waste Water 

The goal of the Water and Waste Water Division is to provide our citizens with safe and reliable water and sewer services responsively and cost-effectively; to protect public health and the environment, and to administer well-planned improvements to support community opportunities.  The Water and Waste Water Division is responsible for the operation, maintenance, administration, planning, and engineering of the public water and sewer facilities that service more than 4000 citizens of the Town of Centreville.
