Town Offices Closed - Cleaning Day

At the January 6, 2022 meeting, the Town Council of Centreville approved the closing the the Town offices to address the decades of hard copy records stored throughout Town Hall and satellite buildings.  The primary concern is that the Town is non-compliant with Maryland’s regulations (COMAR).

To rectify this, Town offices will be closed the 3rd Tuesday of the month to allow staff to review materials, properly assess what are official records, and what should be disposed.

The Town Council and Town staff appreciate your patience during these times and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.  Utility bills may still be submitted during this time at Town Hall through the slot located in the door.
